The Edmonton Inner City Housing Society truly believes that a 'place to call home' can make all the difference when it comes to people's health and happiness. With the support of our donors, we are able to build and provide more places to call home for Edmonton's homeless.
Here's what we've done in the past two years. We have opened up 3 new housing developments – a 16-unit development for homeless inner city individuals, and a 10-unit development for inner city families experiencing poverty as well we recently opened a 27 unit development for individuals and couples. These buildings filled up almost immediately, and our wait list continues…
Won't you please join us in our efforts? Every dollar you donate goes directly towards the construction of new housing for people in need. The current funding model from governments expect that organizations like The Edmonton Inner City Housing Society contribute financially towards the construction costs of new affordable housing. We anticipate that we will need to raise $50,000 for our next affordable housing development for families.
