PROJECT 10
Project 10 is a 6 unit family
housing project in the Boyle Street community. There are 4
three-bedroom units and 2 four-bedroom units of family housing. In 1997
EICHS purchased the land with funds from the Rice Endowment. Like
several of our other projects, it is rent-geared-to- income. In
1998 the land was levelled and rototilled and tenants living in the
inner city area were invited to use the area for a garden. In 1999
we received capital funding for construction from both the Edmonton
Community Lottery Board and the Edmonton Community Foundation. We
were able to have the project opened for new tenants before Christmas
1999. |
